Our Journey

The Kurl Kitchen was founded by sisters Fleur and Keshia, whose English and Ghanaian heritage inspired a love of the ingredients found in West African kitchens. Their own experiences with curly hair led them to create a range for curls, coils, waves and tight textures.

From African black soap shampoo to conditioner, leave-in conditioner, curl cream and hair oil, the range brings the kitchen-and-recipe approach into everyday hair care. Ingredients such as okra, baobab and shea butter are part of that story.
